Tan Benhong: Changan Automobile Is About to Roll Off Its 30 Millionth China Brand Car

Tan Benhong, Chief Human Resources Officer of Changan Automobile, announced today that China Changan is about to welcome the 30 millionth vehicle of a Chinese brand off the production line, marking the company's entry into a new stage of development.

On July 29 this year, China Changan Automobile Group Co., Ltd. was officially established in Chongqing. With this, China's automotive industry has formed a pattern of three central enterprise automobile groups: China FAW, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and China Changan. The group chairman, Zhu Huarong, stated at a media briefing that the target for the group's vehicle production and sales scale by 2030 is 5 million units.

Recently, Changan Automobile has been active in the new energy sector. The company has formed a differentiated layout through its three brands: QiYuan, Deep Blue, and Avita. In November, the group's total sales reached 283,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%; among them, the sales of new energy vehicles reached 125,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 23%, marking the third consecutive month of surpassing 100,000 units.

In terms of brands, Changan Qiyuan's sales in November were 46,909 units, a month-on-month increase of 26%. Its new model A06, which was launched on November 6th, received over 30,000 orders in its first month; another new model, Q05, received over 13,000 orders within ten days of its launch.

Deep Blue Automotive's sales reached 33,060 units in November, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 45.7% from January to November this year. The sales of the Deep Blue S05 in November were 16,170 units, maintaining over 10,000 units for six consecutive months, becoming a stable support for the brand.

The high-end Avita brand achieved sales of 14,057 vehicles in November, a year-on-year increase of 21.4%, marking the ninth consecutive month of sales exceeding 10,000 units, demonstrating a steady growth trend. In addition, Avita officially submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at the end of November, with plans to complete the listing in the second quarter of 2026.

As the 30 millionth Chinese brand car is about to roll off the production line, Changan Automobile is continuously promoting its product and market layout focusing on new energy and intelligence.
