Qishuyan Institute, established in 1959, is located in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, within the "Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone". It is a core enterprise under CRRC Corporation Limited. Qishuyan Institute is a specialized research and development institution for basic materials, fundamental processes, and key components of China's rail transit equipment. It is also a unit dedicated to the research, development, and industrialization of critical core components for rail transit in China. The institute has been recognized as a National Innovation Demonstration Enterprise and a High-tech Enterprise. It boasts a national-level corporate technology center, a postdoctoral research workstation, a nationally accredited laboratory, and six provincial-level engineering centers among its R&D platforms.
