Wuhan Huiqiang New Energy Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is a technical enterprise invested and established by Henan Huiqiang Plastic Industry Development Co., Ltd., with two Huiqiang industrial park production bases in Wuhan and Zhumadian, Henan. In October 2010, the Henan Zhumadian base was established, with strong expert support as technological backing, successfully developing a dry process technology under full proprietary rights. It is the only company in China that can simultaneously produce both PP and PE materials, capable of manufacturing single-layer and composite lithium battery separators ranging from 10μm to 60μm according to customer needs. Currently, it has an annual production capacity of 20 million square meters. The product quality meets world-class advanced standards, and after entering the market, it has been in high demand. In October 2013, the Wuhan Huiqiang Science Park base was constructed, leveraging the support of professors and experts in polymer science from Sichuan University. Utilizing Wuhan's unique geographical, talent, and industrial advantages, it focuses on the research, development, production, and sales of power lithium batteries and lithium battery separators. After completion, this project will fully replace imported high-end separators, filling the gap in lithium-ion battery separator industries in Hubei Province. The Wuhan Huiqiang Science Park Phase I investment is RMB 500 million, with factory space covering 130,000 square meters and a 20,000 square meter R&D center. All main production lines use imported equipment, with an annual production capacity of 50 million square meters, starting production in August 2014. Phase II investment is RMB 1 billion, completing a production line for 10 million square meters of separators while building related supporting industries concurrently. Huiqiang Group is determined to turn the Wuhan base into the leading brand in China's lithium battery separator industry within 3-5 years, forming a cluster dominated by lithium battery separators, with supporting batteries and electric scooters, aiming for an annual sales scale of over 2 billion yuan.
