Notice of Solicitation for Comments on the Industry Standard "Solvent-Based Adhesives for PVC and Chlorinated PVC Pipe Systems"

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued document No. 291 [2023] to assign the revision task for the industry standard "Solvent-based Adhesives for Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Plastic Pipeline Systems" (2023-1725T-QB).

Currently, the working group has completed the drafting of the standard solicitation draft. We are now widely soliciting feedback on the text of the standard solicitation draft (see Attachment 1). We ask all units and relevant experts to carefully read and fill out the "Feedback Form," and send the suggestions to xiaomei_chen@atontech.cn by April 30, 2025, with a copy sent to the secretariat's email at pipesc3@163.com.

The National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastic Products, Sub-Technical Committee on Plastic Pipes, Fittings, and Valves (SAC/TC48/SC3) was established in 1984. It is the national and industry standard technical authority for plastic pipes, fittings, and valves in China. At the same time, it is responsible for the domestic technical correspondence with the International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC138. The secretariat of SAC/TC48/SC3 is located at the Institute of Plastic Processing and Application Research of the Light Industry / Beijing Technology and Business University.
