Following the release of TCL's Mini LED backlighting system "Cosmic Zoning" technology in 2024, many consumers began looking forward to the 2025 model year updates of TCL’s T7 and Q9 series. Some eager customers left messages on social platforms asking about the progress of the new product releases. In TCL’s view, the launch of the new T7L and Q9L series is a sincere response to the market’s anticipation.
It is reported that the TCL T7L Pro series upgrades the wide-angle ultra-clear screen of the previous generation to the butterfly-wing starry screen, with a contrast ratio of up to 7000:1, resulting in deeper dark areas and more dazzling bright areas. The screen uses a 0.5% LR low-reflection film and an 89° regular arrangement of liquid crystal molecules to achieve dual low reflection both inside and outside, reaching an ultra-low overall screen reflection rate of 1.8%. Even during the day, the television picture will not be disturbed by ambient light, providing a pure and clear visual effect, allowing popular products to feature high-end screens that are standard for flagship models.
In addition, the TCL T7L Pro series is equipped with up to 1056 local dimming zones, further enhancing picture quality, surpassing the image performance of ordinary TVs with 2500-level backlight zones. The TCL Q9L Pro series takes it a step further, featuring up to 3456 local dimming zones, providing superior light control compared to industry-standard TVs with 7000-level zones.
In addition to the improvement in picture quality, the peripheral features and accessories of both TV series have undergone large-scale updates. For example, the audio system has been upgraded to a 5-channel Hi-Fi professional sound system meeting the Onkyo 2.1.2 standard; standard configurations now include the TSR AI image quality chip, the Fuxi AI large model, and other intelligent software and hardware, while the operating system has been upgraded to LingControl OS 3.0.
