Together with the other brands of the Zingerle Group, we are continuously developing new projects for a more sustainable environment and society. The word "eco" in Ecotent® refers to the English words "economical" and "ecological", both of which are part of our values.\nThanks to our photovoltaic power plant, we save around 250 tonnes of co2 per year.\nSustainability at Ecotent®\nEfficient measures for a greener future!\nOur sustainable actions start with our company building in South Tyrol, which has been powered 100 % by renewable energy from our large photovoltaic system since 2008. In all our subsidiaries, we pay attention to economical energy consumption through small daily measures such as switching off computers and appliances when not in use and using energy-efficient LED lamps, which consume only 1/5 of the energy compared to conventional lamps.\nIn addition, our buildings are thermally insulated to reduce heat loss.\nSUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE: People in the spotlight\nOur social responsibility\nWe live sustainability in all its facets: We care not only about the environment, but also about the people. At Ecotent®, we care about the well-being of our employees, fellow human beings and those who are in difficult life situations. We have designed our premises, working hours and company activities to meet individual needs and every year we organise charity projects and events to support the disadvantaged.\nRECYCLABLE MATERIALS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE\nECOTENT® RELIES ON DURABLE PRODUCTS \nThe life cycle of our products is infinite\nIn the production of our pop up gazebos, we are passionate about taking care of every little detail so that they last as long as possible. A longer lifespan means less waste material and an optimised energy balance in production. In this way, we also contribute to CO2 reduction!\nIn the production of our pop up gazebos, we only use recyclable materials: aluminium for the frame structure, iron for the feet and plastic for the cover caps or the push button. Likewise, our processed polyester fabrics for roofs and side panels are 100 % recyclable at the end of their service life.\nupcycling\nleftovers? No, masterpieces!\nWe turn apparent waste into added value for our customers. In fact, we use the fabric scraps from our pop up gazebos to make drawstring bags that we deliver to all our customers as a sustainable and useful gift.\nIf you share our values of sustainability, we have the perfect solution. Among our tent fabrics you will find the "Recycling" textile, which is made of 100 % recycled polyester polymers, obtained from old PET bottles. The environmental benefits are many: 1. we don't produce new material, 2. we recycle waste, 3. we reduce the number of plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in the ocean or landfills. This fabric is available in three natural colours: Olive, Stone and Sand. It has also been tested and certified according to Control Union's Global Recycled Standard.
