It incorporates certain UV-resistant and anti-aging additives and is subjected to unidirectional stretching, which realigns the originally scattered chain-like molecules into a linear arrangement. This material significantly outperforms traditional or existing reinforcement materials and is an ideal synthetic material for civil engineering reinforcement and strengthening. Based on its material, unidirectional plastic geogrids can be categorized into PP unidirectional plastic geogrids and HDPE unidirectional plastic geogrids. Application Areas: 1. Unidirectional plastic geogrid is a high-strength structural material suitable for foundation reinforcement of highways, municipal roads, railways, and airport runways. 2. It is suitable for the reinforcement of dams along rivers and seas. 3. It can be used as fencing for orchards, vegetable fields, livestock, and land, offering convenience and ease of assembly and disassembly, while also being aesthetically pleasing. 4. It is mainly used for retaining walls, bridge abutments, and steep slope projects. 6. Retaining walls and bridge abutments are load-bearing structures that bear all external loads: active earth pressure, dynamic loads from structures above, temperature stresses, etc. Reinforcement materials are subjected to significant tension over long periods, and the repeated action of dynamic loads can cause fatigue in the molecular structure of the material, leading to performance degradation and accelerated aging of the grid. To prevent excessive deformation of the structure due to the creep of reinforcement materials, unidirectional plastic geogrids made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) should be selected.
