Li Yunfei Debunks Rumor That BYD Isn’t Building Charging Stations: BYD Was Among China’s First Automakers to Deploy Large-Scale Charging Infrastructure
Li Yunfei, General Manager of BYD Group’s Brand and Public Relations Department, released a video on March 12 to debunk the rumor that BYD does not build charging piles. He stated that, in fact, BYD was one of the earliest automakers in China to construct charging piles on a large scale. The current implementation of the “Flash Charging China” initiative is also aimed at alleviating concerns hindering the remaining 50% of fuel-vehicle owners from switching to electric vehicles.
