Zhejiang Hisun Biomaterials Co., Ltd. (short for: Hisun Biomaterials) is located in Taizhou, a high-tech enterprise specializing in the production of polylactic acid (PLA). It was jointly established in August 2004 by Zhejiang Hisun Group Co., Ltd., Taizhou Jiaojiang District State-owned Assets Operation Co., Ltd., and others. Hisun Biomaterials is committed to "developing plant resources and fostering a harmonious society," pioneering the industrial production of polylactic acid materials in China. It is the first demonstration enterprise for the industrial production of polylactic acid in China. By the end of 2006, Hisun Biomaterials officially launched its first production line with an annual output of 5,000 tons, and the product quality has since been recognized by numerous domestic and international clients. As the global biodegradable plastics industry continues to heat up, the application of polylactic acid products is becoming increasingly widespread, making Hisun Biomaterials a focal point for many businesses. The company has its own specialized polylactic acid application research institute, equipped with devices such as impact testers, melt flow rate testers, electronic universal testing machines, injection molding machines, two-roll mills, sheet extruders, flatbed vulcanizers, thermoforming machines, and cast film production machines. These facilities are used for research on polylactic acid forming processes, polylactic acid modification technology, development and promotion of polylactic acid products, training in polylactic acid processing technology, and technical consulting services. The aim is to provide effective technical support for the application of Hisun polylactic acid. Hisun is confident that it can pave a new path for the application and promotion of polylactic acid products in China, contributing to the development of a new type of high-tech industrialization.
