We will practice our corporate philosophy of Contributing to the creation of a prosperous society through the creation of new value and aim to be a company that adds new value (Shinka).\n\nCelebrating the 50th anniversary of operations\nThe Kanbo Plus Fukui Plant celebrated its 50th anniversary on September 11, 2022. We believe this is thanks to everyone who has supported us. At that time, the resin processing division of the Aoki Plant (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) was transferred to the Fukui Plant (Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture), and a factory was established that could consistently perform fireproofing and waterproofing of synthetic fiber canvas. We have contributed to society by manufacturing products that satisfy our customers, developing new functions through the combination of materials, and providing new products. We will continue to work on manufacturing products that satisfy our customers.\n\nEnvironmental initiatives\nKanbo Plus first published its "Environmental Report" in 2002, and has been issuing a CSR report once a year since 2006, changing its name to "CSR Report." In addition, in 2016, we formulated a BCP (Business Continuity Agreement) to determine how to act in the event of an emergency. Japan is more likely to encounter natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, volcanic eruptions, and torrential downpours than other countries. As a society, we are implementing disaster prevention measures to minimize damage as much as possible. Kanbo Plus has "added" products that are conscious of disaster prevention, such as panel-type water stop sheets for flood prevention, emergency tarpaulin stretchers, and high-performance large sandbags. We will continue to develop our manufacturing and contribute to society.\n\nSustainability initiatives\nFaced with abnormal weather due to global warming, drifting marine plastic waste, and development that exceeds the speed of natural regeneration by humans, companies are required to take into account the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). SDGs management and ESG investment are becoming commonplace as corporate citizens.
