LA-CO Industries, with the Tempilink brand, manufactures and distributes a full line of indicator inks for medical sterilization. The inks produce irreversible color changes when exposed to proper sterilization conditions. Tempilink products can be used to produce ISO 11140-1 compliant products used in Steam, Ethylene Oxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Formaldehyde, Irradiation, and other sterilization processes. The Tempilink line of Thermochromic inks are used in a variety of tamper evident security applications, including; money pouches, evidence bags, duty free bags, and other uses which require validation of the contents integrity. When exposed to elevated temperature conditions, the inks experience an irreversible color change, indicating that some type of tampering attempted. The inks are available for Flexographic, Gravure, and Screen-printing processes.
