LiteAir is located in Anacortes, Washington, USA, just 50 miles north of the Boeing, Everett plant. The company was formed in 1995 specifically to develop lightweight window plugs to support the Passenger-to-freighter conversion industry. Recognizing that the weight and other efficiencies saved in a single window component could be multiplied many times over; LiteAir spared no engineering effort to reduce the component weight, installation time, maintenance effort and cost to a minimum. The resulting designs are the lightest in the industry and in some cases weigh less than one third of those currently in use with reduced maintenance, cost and installation time.
