1 dead, 4 injured! Explosion at a petroleum products factory!
On the morning of March 29, a petroleum products plant in Aliağa, Izmir Province, Turkey, exploded, resulting in one death and four severe injuries.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the explosion was likely caused by a gas leak, which also triggered a fire. Upon receiving the alert, firefighters, rescue teams, and medical personnel quickly arrived at the scene. The fire has now been successfully extinguished. Medical staff confirmed that one worker tragically died in the explosion, while four others with severe injuries have been transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The local authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
