Ampacet Launches HyperLustre Series, Enhancing Visual Texture of PET Packaging

Ampacet has launched a new HyperLustre series of semi-transparent effect masterbatches, specifically designed to enhance the visual quality of PET packaging.

The titanium dioxide (TiO₂)-free series of products presents a refined pearlescent texture, specially designed for hair care, personal care, and beauty products. HyperLustre is compatible with PET blow molding and injection stretch blow molding processes. Ampacet states that this masterbatch achieves a unique appearance without traditional special effect pigments, providing efficient production support for applications in the beauty and personal care field. The series offers six color schemes, all inspired by natural and fleeting light and shadow elements. Ampacet's Market Insights Manager, Mercedes Landazuri, says the series helps designers create a "refined and luxurious aesthetic style" without relying on titanium dioxide. Ampacet was founded in 1937 and is headquartered in Tarrytown, New York, USA, with over 2,000 employees worldwide. It operates 21 production facilities in 17 countries, including technical research centers and color matching centers.
