Argentina Issues Final Determination on Anti-Dumping Sunset Review and Changed Circumstances Review on PVC Profiles from China
On October 30, 2025, the Argentine Ministry of Economy issued Announcement No. 1680 of 2025, making a negative final ruling on the sunset review and situation change review of anti-dumping measures for PVC profiles originating in China (Spanish: Perfiles de polímeros de cloruro de vinilo, de los tipos utilizados en la fabricación de aberturas o cerramientos) used in the manufacture of doors, windows, and partitions. The Argentine tax number for the products involved is 3916.20.00. The announcement takes effect from the date of publication.
On December 3, 2012, Argentina initiated an anti-dumping investigation against PVC profiles originating from China and Germany. On July 16, 2014, Argentina made a affirmative final ruling on the case and officially imposed anti-dumping duties, with the tax amount for the Chinese products involved being $0.88 per kilogram. Subsequently, Argentina conducted a sunset review and made a positive decision on March 26, 2020, extending the duration of the duties. On February 27, 2025, Argentina initiated a second sunset review investigation along with a change of circumstances review investigation.
