Recently, reporters learned from the Northwest Chemical Sales Company of China Petroleum that, with strong support from Lanzhou Petrochemical, the Northwest Chemical Sales Company closely collaborated with Northeast China Petroleum International Corporation to successfully export 61 tons of Lanzhou Petrochemical's polypropylene SP179 product to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire in Africa for the first time, marking the beginning of opening up new markets for new materials in China's petrochemical industry in Africa.
This year, China National Petroleum Northwest Chemical Sales Company has already exceeded its annual target ahead of schedule, with the export volume of "Zou Xikou" synthetic resin reaching three times the annual target for 2024. Fertilizer products have been exported to the South American market, and nitrile rubber has achieved its first export to the European market.
In recent years, the Northwest Chemical Sales Company has fully implemented a marketing breakthrough project, adhering to the integrated operation of two markets and two types of resources. It has continuously strengthened research and product promotion in the Central Asian market, actively explored export opportunities in the African and European markets, established a rapid response and joint operation mechanism, and enhanced its capability to develop overseas markets.
A relevant person in charge of the Northwest Chemical Sales Company stated that the company will continue to promote the construction of a nationwide unified market. It will jointly conduct research on major overseas target markets with major refining and chemical enterprises in the Northwest region and related companies, strengthen cooperation, continuously expand the scale of "going west," promote the transformation and upgrading of refineries in the Northwest region, enhance quality and efficiency, and contribute to the high-quality economic development of Gansu.
