According to Japan's Tokyo Broadcasting System, a fire broke out at a plastic recycling plant in Ibaraki Prefecture at around 11 PM local time on the 23rd, and as of the morning of the 24th, the fire is still not under control.

According to reports, there is a solar power plant near the location of the fire. Additionally, there is a school approximately 400 meters away from the fire site.
