Haozhi Invests 1.55 Billion Yuan to Expand Aerospace Composite Production, Seizing Golden Opportunity of Domestic Large Aircraft
Aerospace composite materials have long become a core competitive arena in modern aircraft manufacturing. With the accelerated large-scale production of domestically developed large passenger aircraft and the continuous iteration and upgrading of various aerospace equipment, the market demand for high-end composite components is experiencing explosive growth. Seizing this industry opportunity, Aerospace Huanyu has officially taken a critical step by significantly expanding its production capacity for aerospace composite materials, thus bolstering and empowering the upgrading of China’s domestic aerospace industry.

On the evening of April 21, Aerospace HuanYu released a preliminary plan for a private placement of shares, intending to raise RMB 1.55 billion in funds. The proceeds will be precisely directed toward strengthening its core business, comprehensively expanding its presence in the large-aircraft composite components sector, and closely aligning with the broader development trend of China’s domestic aviation industry.
The current fundraising plan is clear and well-defined, with funds primarily allocated to core industrial development. Among the initiatives, the Intelligent Manufacturing Project for Large Aircraft Composite Components entails a total investment of RMB 1.67 billion, of which RMB 1.43 billion in raised capital will be deployed for project implementation. By establishing high-standard, automated production lines, the company will bridge the gap in research, development, and mass production capabilities for large aircraft composite structural components, precisely meeting the production requirements of domestically developed large aircraft while also fulfilling urgent demands arising from national defense equipment upgrades. The remaining RMB 120 million will be used to supplement the company’s working capital, ensuring stable daily operations and steady progress in technological research and development.
Currently, this private placement has only determined the total fundraising amount and core construction projects. Details such as the issuance price, issuance quantity, and cooperative partners will be gradually disclosed in the future. The overall layout is steadily advancing.
With years of deep involvement in the aerospace sector, Hangyu Aerospace has already established a solid industrial foundation. The company has now built an approximately 40,000-square-meter intelligent manufacturing center for aerospace composite components, fully equipped with core capabilities including 20-meter-class automated composite layup, co-curing, precision machining, and non-destructive testing. It has long been undertaking R&D and production tasks for composite components and functional structural parts for various military and civil aircraft, accumulating profound technical expertise and extensive project experience in aerospace composites through consistent product quality and mature manufacturing processes.
Aircraft lightweighting is an inevitable trend for the upgrading of the aviation industry. Replacing traditional metal materials with high-performance composite materials can effectively reduce the aircraft's weight, enhance flight range, and lower energy consumption, which is also the mainstream development direction of global aircraft manufacturing. Looking at mainstream aircraft models worldwide, the proportion of composite materials in the fuselage structure of new generation aircraft such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 has reached about 50%, and they are widely used in key components such as the fuselage and wings.
By comparison, the current composite material usage in the domestically produced C919 large passenger aircraft stands at 12%, leaving substantial room for improvement. The upcoming C929 wide-body aircraft under development has directly set a target of over 50% composite material usage, while the adoption rates of composites in various military aircraft and drones continue to rise steadily. It is evident that the large-scale adoption of aerospace composites has become a clear industry trend, presenting enormous market growth potential.
Under the guidance of national strategy, the industrialization of domestically developed large aircraft is accelerating, and the localization of aviation equipment is advancing rapidly. The domestic production of high-performance composite components has become a critical element in ensuring the security of the aviation industry chain and driving breakthroughs in high-end manufacturing. Aerospace Huanyu’s substantial expansion is not only a strategic move to strengthen and grow the company itself, but also aligns with broader industry trends—laying a solid foundation in materials and components for the development of next-generation aviation equipment characterized by higher speed and greater sustainability.
Standing firmly on the core track of aerospace composite materials, Aerospace Huanyu is seizing the dividends of China’s domestically developed large aircraft era, leveraging its technological expertise and production capacity upgrades. With the implementation and commissioning of its intelligent manufacturing project, the company’s production capacity, R&D capabilities, and supporting capacity will undergo a comprehensive leap forward, continuously injecting robust impetus for domestication into the high-quality development of China’s aerospace industry.
