India Department Terminates February 26, 2024 PVC Policy Notification

On November 12, 2025, the relevant Indian official department, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, abolished the notification regarding polyvinyl chloride (PVC) homopolymers issued by the Indian government on February 26, 2024 (No. S.O. 920(E)) in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), published on February 27, 2024, with immediate effect. This notification signifies the termination of the policy by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals regarding BIS for imported PVC, and it is expected that the anti-dumping measures for imported PVC will be announced and implemented soon, according to market estimates.
