Izumi Recognized as Foshan City First-Level Digital Demonstration Factory for 2025
Recently, the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology announced the evaluation results of the 2025 Digitalization Demonstration Factories, and Guangdong Yizumi Precision Molding Machine Co., Ltd. successfully won the title of Level 1 Digitalization Demonstration Factory with its outstanding intelligent manufacturing practices, becoming one of only seven companies in the city to be selected. This is another authoritative recognition Yizumi has received in the field of intelligent manufacturing, following its selection as a "2025 Advanced Intelligent Factory" in Guangdong Province last August.

Top-level design guides intelligent transformation.
Yizumi's digital transformation began in 2018, based on long-term systematic planning. Taking the opportunity of building new factories, the company carried out top-level design, aiming to build a digital factory integrating intelligent production, digital management, and networked collaboration. The core of the plan is to deeply integrate artificial intelligence technology into the research and development design of precision molding equipment, anchoring the strategic direction for the application of AI in the high-end manufacturing sector.
With the blueprint finalized, Yizumi's digital factory, with a total investment of over 2 billion yuan and covering an area of 178,000 square meters, officially went into operation at the end of 2022. The factory, centered on the core concepts of "efficiency, flexibility, intelligence, and sustainability," marks a crucial leap in the company's digital transformation from top-level design to tangible implementation, and also lays a solid hardware and conceptual foundation for its recent recognition as a municipal demonstration factory.

Hardware-software integration for a smart manufacturing core
In Yizumi's digital factory, intelligent robotic arms perform precise operations, AGV carts shuttle in an orderly manner, and data on the central screen updates in real time, together painting a panoramic view of efficient and collaborative intelligent manufacturing. Behind this scene lies Yizumi's deep integration and synchronous construction of both physical and information space systems.



At the hardware (physical space) level, the factory has established a fully intelligent and flexible mixed-line production system covering the entire process from "machining → painting → sub-assembly → final assembly → logistics." By integrating the FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System), automated logistics, and a customized MES (Manufacturing Execution System), the factory has achieved mixed-line production of 90T-320T injection molding machines. Production cycle time has been shortened to 15 minutes per unit, with a monthly capacity reaching 1000 units, fundamentally transforming the production model.
At the software (information space) level, the company has built an integrated information platform covering all business aspects from R&D, production, and supply chain to sales and after-sales service. By deploying and deeply integrating PLM, SAP-ERP, MES, WMS, and over ten other core systems including AI, the factory has completely eliminated information silos, built decision-making capabilities based on real-time data flow and sharing, and achieved intelligent driving of operational management.
Efficiency and Green Development Go Hand in Hand
The construction of Haitian's digital factory has achieved quantifiable results and substantial breakthroughs in improving operational efficiency and practicing green development.
Significant improvement in operational efficiency: Compared to traditional models, the factory has achieved substantial reductions in production cycles, operating costs, and the average assembly time for injection molding machines. Supply chain and inventory management have also been optimized: On-time delivery rates for procurement and contract product warehousing have significantly increased; simultaneously, the proportion of whole machine inventory orders has effectively risen, and the percentage of scheduled orders has grown substantially.
Green development is integrated throughout the entire process: The factory has deeply embedded the concept of "carbon neutrality" into its operational workflow, constructing an efficient and low-carbon sustainable model. Energy efficiency has been improved by 25% through the deployment of an energy management system; a photovoltaic power station has been built, meeting 30% of the factory's annual electricity consumption; and paperless (+production) office operations have been implemented, saving approximately 2 tons of paper annually.


This successful accreditation is a strong testament to Yizumi's intelligent manufacturing capabilities. In the future, Yizumi will continue to focus on the strategic direction of "digital and intelligent efficiency, green development," continuously deepen innovation, and contribute more to the digital transformation and upgrading of manufacturing in Foshan City and even across the country.
