Mexico Makes Final Anti-Dumping Ruling on Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene Block Copolymers from China

On November 11, 2025, the Mexican Ministry of Economy issued an announcement regarding the final affirmative determination of anti-dumping duties on Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene block copolymers originating from China. It decided to impose an anti-dumping duty of $0.8324 per kilogram on the products in question. The products involved are classified under TIGIE tariff codes 3903.90.99, 4002.11.99, 4002.19.02, 4002.19.99, and 4002.99.99. The measures will take effect the day after the announcement is published.

On August 7, 2024, Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation against styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymers originating from China. The investigation period for dumping is from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from April 1, 2021, to March 31, 2024. On March 3, 2025, Mexico made a positive preliminary ruling in the case, provisionally determining to impose a temporary anti-dumping duty of $0.8324 per kilogram on the products in question.
