Prices in the Recycled Material Market: Some Decline in East China, Recycled PE in Shanghai Falls by 200
Abstract: On October 22, the recycled plastic market in East China saw a new price in the morning! The recycled market in East China is stable with some declines. In Shanghai, recycled PE fell by 200, reported at 3850-6150; recycled PP in Jiangsu is reported at 4450-6050. The current spot supply from recycled manufacturers is acceptable, mainly trading with old customers. Downstream product manufacturers are slowly following up on new orders, with small inquiries. Due to the previous decline in pellet prices, recycled manufacturers have a low acceptance of high-priced raw materials from upstream, and the continued decrease in new material prices has led to price reductions at packing stations.
