Tongyi Zhong Plans to Build 2,400 Tons/Year Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Fiber

On December 9, Tongyi Zhong announced that the company plans to invest approximately 198 million yuan of its own or raised funds to construct an industrialization project with an annual output of 2,400 tons of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber. This project focuses on the efficient production, differentiation, and functional development of high-performance polyethylene fibers. It aims to meet the needs of various niche markets, such as lightweight protection, fishing line weaving, sports equipment enhancement, cool-feel textiles, lightweight ropes, smart wearable devices, aquaculture nets, engineering mooring cables, and industrial lifting belts, based on the application characteristics of different product specifications. The project seeks to consolidate the company's leading position in the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber niche market, expand the product's application value in fields such as safety protection, high-end textiles, marine engineering, medical health, humanoid robots, and cultivate diversified profit growth points.

Project construction period: In accordance with the overall project plan, the estimated construction period is 10 months after the project begins.
