Product Introduction
Polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear polymer compound. Due to its various active groups, it can form hydrogen bonds through affinity and adsorption with many substances. It mainly flocculates negatively charged colloids and has functions such as turbidity removal, decolorization, adsorption, and adhesion. It is suitable for wastewater treatment in industries with high organic colloid content, such as dyeing, papermaking, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oil fields, aquatic product processing, and fermentation. It is particularly suitable for the dewatering treatment of urban sewage, municipal sludge, papermaking sludge, and other industrial sludges.
Product Features
Due to the following effects of polyacrylamide:
Clarification and purification effect;
2. Sedimentation promotion;
3. Filtration promotion;
4. Thickening effect and other effects.
Therefore, it can fully meet the requirements in wastewater treatment, sludge concentration and dewatering, mineral processing, coal washing, and papermaking.
Application Fields
1) For sludge dewatering, select the appropriate model of this product based on the sludge properties. It can effectively dewater sludge before it enters the filter press. During dewatering, large flocs are formed, which do not stick to the filter cloth, and do not disintegrate during pressing. The resulting mud cake is relatively thick, with high dewatering efficiency and a moisture content below 80%.
2) For the treatment of domestic sewage and organic wastewater, this product exhibits a positive charge in both acidic and alkaline media, making it highly effective for flocculating and precipitating suspended particles with negative charges in the wastewater, thus clarifying the water. Such as wastewater from grain alcohol production, papermaking, municipal sewage treatment plants, beer production, monosodium glutamate factories, sugar manufacturing, high organic content wastewater, feed wastewater, and textile dyeing and printing wastewater, etc., using cationic polyacrylamide is several to dozens of times more effective than using anionic, non-ionic polyacrylamide, or inorganic salts, because these types of wastewater generally carry negative charges.
3) It serves as a flocculant for tap water sourced from rivers, requiring a small amount, highly effective, and low-cost. Particularly, when used in combination with inorganic flocculants, the effect is even better. It will become an efficient flocculant for water treatment plants along the Yangtze River, Yellow River, and other watersheds.
4) Paper strength enhancers and other additives. Improve the retention rate of fillers, pigments, etc., and the strength of the paper.
5) Used for oilfield chemical additives, such as clay swelling inhibitors and thickeners for oilfield acidizing.
6) Used for textile sizing, with stable sizing solution performance, less sizing drop, low yarn breakage rate, and smooth fabric surface.
