According to IT Home, BYD is projected to sell approximately 4.6 million new energy vehicles in 2025, of which about 2.26 million will be battery electric vehicles. Among these, BYD's overseas deliveries in 2025 will exceed 1.04 million units (including passenger cars and pickups), far surpassing its total overseas sales for the entire year of 2024.

BYD sold 190,190 new energy vehicles in February, a 35.80% decline year-over-year, and 187,782 passenger vehicles, a 36.00% decline year-over-year, continuing to rank as the top-selling new energy vehicle in China.
