Knitted Fabric and Garment Projects Land in Wangjiang, Anhui, Injecting New Momentum into the 100-Billion-Yuan Textile Industry
Wangjiang Textile Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd.'s high-end knitted fabric and garment production project has recently been launched in Wangjiang County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. As a key chain-supplementing project, it will precisely fill the gap in the local textile industry's dyeing and finishing links, injecting momentum into the cultivation of a county-level 100 billion yuan textile industry cluster.

With a total investment of 500 million yuan, including 300 million yuan in fixed assets, the project will establish a full industrial chain layout encompassing "high-end knitted fabric production and garment manufacturing," leveraging its Hong Kong-funded background to supply the international market directly. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to generate an output value of 380 million yuan and tax revenue exceeding 10 million yuan in its first year. In the future, the annual output value is expected to reach 1.5 billion yuan, with annual foreign exchange earnings of 150 million US dollars, while creating 1,000 local jobs.
"The project introduces advanced dyeing and finishing technologies and processes, and with the support of Hong Kong capital, it opens up channels to international markets," said Dong Sihong, the company's general manager. To ensure the project's smooth progress, Wangjiang Economic Development Zone has compressed the approval cycle through a "helpline + 24-hour response" mechanism, providing full-process services and continuously optimizing the business environment.
A relevant person in charge of Wangjiang Economic Development Zone pointed out that the project aligns with Wangjiang's plan to cultivate a trillion-yuan textile industry cluster, and will further improve Wangjiang's complete industrial chain layout of "spinning-weaving-dyeing-garment making", promoting the industry's transformation towards high-end, green, and international development. With the successive implementation of supply chain strengthening and complementing projects, Wangjiang County is accelerating towards its goal of achieving a textile industry output value of 60 billion yuan by 2030.
