High-End Trend Heats Up in India's Consumer Electronics Market by 2025, Tier 2 and 3 Cities Become Main Growth Drivers

Data shows that in 2025, the Indian consumer electronics market will exhibit a clear trend of upgrading, with not only a continuous expansion in sales scale but also characteristics of high-end development and regional balance. Amazon India points out that as consumers' purchasing power and awareness levels increase, second- and third-tier cities have become significant growth drivers for categories such as smartphones, laptops, large home appliances, and home entertainment devices. In 2025, high-end products will be one of the most prominent trends in the market. Ultra-high-end laptops (priced over 100,000 rupees) will see a year-on-year growth of over 30%, high-end tablets (priced over 30,000 rupees) will grow by 60%, with 75% of sales coming from first-time buyers; high-end smartwatches (priced over 10,000 rupees) will experience a year-on-year growth of 40%.
