New Energy Vehicle Exports Surge, Overseas Sales Proportion Expected to Reach 30%

At the 2025 Automotive Finance Industry Summit, Xu Changming from the National Information Center revealed that the current overseas sales proportion of domestic brand cars is 16%, and it is expected to increase to 30% within five years. In the first ten months of this year, China's electric vehicle exports reached 2.014 million units, a year-on-year increase of 90.4%; in October alone, exports were 256,000 units, nearly doubling year-on-year. In emerging markets, 55 out of every 100 electric vehicles are from Chinese brands, highlighting the rapid enhancement of their global competitiveness.
